Isogai Shiro, a former star detective now working in the Community Safety Division, is consumed by the unsolved disappearance and presumed murder of his fiancée. Driven more by revenge than justice, he relentlessly pursues the serial killer he believes is responsible.
His path crosses with that of Kuroi Hinata, a young woman searching for the murderer who took someone precious to her. Hinata possesses a mysterious sixth sense that allows her to see the number of people a killer has murdered simply by touching them.
United by their shared desire to uncover the truth, the lone-wolf detective and the enigmatic woman form an unlikely partnership. As they hunt a dangerous serial killer, the two must navigate the blurred line between justice and vengeance.
